Fiber – Another reason to raise alpacas. Annual shearing provides for the

alpacas’ continued good health and the fiber produced pays for their

upkeep. Spring shearing is an event enjoyed by many visitors. All are

encouraged to engage in the work of the day and revel in the abundant

fleeces provided by the herd. Raw fleeces are sold to spinners. Professionally

processed roving is available to spinners and felters. Yarn, both commercially spun and handspun, is for sale. In addition, finished goods are for sale including socks, sweaters, vests, hats and scarves. Kits for needle felting, knitting, and Australian locker rug hooking are all for sale at Woodcreek Farm.
